“Gluten Free Museum” Tumblr re-creates iconic images sans grains

No donuts. No spaghetti. Not even a blade of wheat in the field.

A mysterious French whiz has been posting amazing images on the Tumblr site “Gluten Free Museum,” re-imagining Van Gogh, The Simpsons and Pulp Fiction in a world without gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley and rye.

Gluten causes intestinal problems for people with celiac disease, but a gluten-free diet is becoming so popular that farmers are researching how to grow gluten-free wheat.
