Why aren’t America’s presidential candidates talking about Europe’s financial crisis?

Despite the threat the European financial crisis presents to global prosperity, the two men contesting the US presidency haven’t had much to say about what they’ll do to support Europe or insulate the US economy from contagion. It turns out that this makes sense: There’s little more the US government can do.
